He really did stalk her everywhere, and yet, like he was some kind of Edward Woodiwkss, all that was ever described was how hawt he looked and how he’d cock an eyebrow and make her shiver or some such bullcrap. One thing that I give Woodiwiss credit for, her decisions on plot aside, is that she has the ability to create brain candy for the reader, where you’re just happy to munch on it and have an escape for a few hours.
In fact, I have already purchased “Ashes in the Wind”, another book that received great reviews.
So Worthy My Love. Agreed, Stuart is all that exists, not that Seton Gaston-like fellow. This is the second book by this author that I DNF. Except for the white shirt, he was dressed entirely in black. Conflicted by emotions she cannot suppress, Erienne valiantly attempts to remain honorable to her elusive, enigmatic husband but feels herself irresistibly drawn to Seton’s passion, his fire, and his secrets.

She was also extremely loyal. But the more I got to know him, qinter more I realized he was a pompous, disrespectful, borderline rapist.

I do not tend to like infidelity so I loved it when then heroine decided that she was going to consummate her marriage despite her fears of his physical deformities.
The first publisher on her list, Avon, quickly purchased the novel and arranged an initialprint run. I loved Lord Saxton to bits! Behind her back, she could feel him jerking on wkodiwiss gloves, and on impulse she laid a palm wooxiwiss his chest, finding it firmly muscled beneath the crispness of his shirt.
The novel sold over 2. Charming, spirited and exquisitely lovely, she is beset on all sides by suitors, any one of whom would pay a king’s fortune for a place in her heart. Although she had much to learn about being a wife, going to parties and avoiding being molested practically by other certain lordsand fighting off the courting efforts of Christopher, the whole story, for me, became about Lord Saxton.
The characters and settings could also be fully developed without cheating one or the other. I was just really excited to be reading a story, especially one I had heard was similar to an already-favorite, The Phantom of the Opera, as well as Beauty and the Beast.
