For a dead guy even a weak voice was a neat trick, she thought then shook her head. The 2nd book in the series and another “this was hard to put down” book. This fever was really playing havoc with her thinking.

Vampiric fun and games. She is a coroner that works the graveyard shift.
I’m giving it three stars because it’s a vast improvement on the first book, which gained a single star from me. Pudgy is really becoming a problem – especially since he just axed the pretty hy coroner. It’s a throwaway quick read but not wholly satisfying. Notice the canandian bird reference, this book takes place in Toronto another plus.
She likes being who she is, she doesn’t want to change. Rachel retrieved the shears, opened and closed them sanss she eyed the waist of his suit pants, but didn’t immediately start cutting.
I find this a distinct difference in how Americans and Europeans use this term and it stuck out like a sore thumb for me as misplaced. Find a book you’ll love, get our newsletter name email. Especially a dead stranger. In the meantime, Etienne is efficiently going about the work of eliminating the “experience” from Rachel’s head and making a quick break out of the morgue.
The characters are more likeable though, and I did find that the hero had a certain attractiveness about him and wasn’t as flat and one dimensional lyhsay the hero in the first book.
Thought we got a beat before transporting from the scene, but might have been wrong. Like, Pudge has done some serious damage already, and threatened to expose them quite heavily. That meant she had to remove the rest of his clothes to examine his lower front body, but she would need help from Tony in turning the man to examine his back.
Shrugging such thoughts aside, Rachel grabbed the rolling tray of equipment she would need and pushed it next to the steel table where her newest client lay.
She had to actually remind herself, “It’s an hallucination. This book pokes fun at all that is suck neck and I just love the Argeneaus. Fast forward a couple of days and Rachel wakes and is told she is a vampire.
She wondered and peered at his face again. It was neither very funny nor suspenseful only boring. My only real negative for this book, was the fairly easy ac Finally persevered with this. His arch nemesis, Pudge is delusional and wants to kill him.
Etienne Argeneau’s three hundred years of bachelorhood are at an end. I may continue this series but will probably try reading the next one to see if that helps at all. Sweat was gathering across her back and along her scalp as if she’d been running a marathon. Those who enjoyed Sands’s previous paranormal comedy of errors may eke a little enjoyment from these pages, but this isn’t something vampire fans will want to sink their teeth into. He came out of the coffin and of course Rachel was beside herself not knowing what he was going to do or why she was there.
There was nothing that could be considered an identifying feature on the man.

Perhaps he’d been shot and robbed of his wallet. The villain wasn’t much of a villain either. I think Etienne should have been a little more smooth with the women being as he was over years old but whatevs.
